Broadcore's Instant Messaging (IM) enables users to access others within their organization rapidly and efficiently. It is fully integrated within Broadcore's Unity solution in order to increase productivity by allowing real-time access to resources and information from a single endpoint.
Instant Messaging is less intrusive than a phone call, and more immediate than an email. Broadcore's IM provides an intuitive user interface in order to put the user in control of how they prefer to be notified of a new message in their inbox and how they wish to retrieve those messages.
When used in conjunction with Broadcore's Presence, Broadcore's IM provides a powerful tool for users to quickly assess the availability of their colleagues and immediately contact them for quick communications.
Instant communications
With Broadcore IM, users can rapidly and efficiently communicate across organizations and attain immediate resolution to business affairs with a natural flow of conversation.
Saving money
Instant resolution of business affairs through IM translates into saved time and money for the entire organization. Additionally, eliminating long distance telephone charges removes further costs from the organization's total cost of communications.
Simultaneous discussions
Users can easily hold simultaneous discussions with multiple people by adding additional people to their IM session. This can be particularly helpful for customer service representatives, or internal group discussions.
Full integration
Broadcore IM is fully integrated within the Broadcore Unity solution with a single interface to display the status of others within the organization where users can IM others for immediate communications. It is also fully integrated with Microsoft's Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC) 4.5 consisting of Microsoft's Office Communications Server 2007, and Microsoft Exchange 2007.
