Broadcore provides two instant conferencing solutions that are simple to activate and require no predefined bridge numbers or PIN codes. These solutions provide basic conferencing capabilities without the need for additional conference server network elements.
6-way calling
6-way calling provides users the capability to incrementally join up to 6 participants into a call, simply by dialing a three-way call sequence multiple times. The bridge is terminated when the last person hangs up.
Instant group call
Instant group call (IGC) provides users with the ability to instantly call a predefined group of users for an ad hoc conference call. When the user dials the IGC number or extension, the system calls a predefined list of participants. Participants can then join a multi-way conference when they respond. An IGC can be triggered by either calling a predefined number or using the Push-To-Talk (*50) function. An IGC number can be assigned various user features including priority alert (distinctive ring), alternate numbers (local numbers) or Do Not Disturb.
