Broadcore Unity Client is a Microsoft Windows-based application that simplifies the making and receiving of calls. Featuring an intuitive icon-based interface, Unity provides point-and-click call control, instant messaging and presence within the familiar desktop environment.

Broadcore Unity combines IP Telephony, Instant Messaging and Presence to enable users to observe the real-time availability of their colleagues before attempting to contact them using the most appropriate mode of communications.

Point-and-click call control
Broadcore Unity makes call processing intuitive, easy, and efficient. One may never need to touch the phone again! While the audio flows through the IP telephone, unity enables users to do everything else. One click answers the call; another click places the call on hold, transfers it to another party, or sends it to voicemail.

Real-time status displayed
Broadcore Presence displays real-time availability of others within the organization and visually reflects their status as ringing, engaged on a call, unavailable, or available. Depending on the group's configuration, users can also view who each party is speaking with. The user can configure to view the status of up to 20 telephones on the system. Easy configuration allows for adding, removing, and changing of other users at any time.

Instant Messaging
Broadcore Unity integrates telephony with Instant Messaging (IM) to empower users to access others within their organization rapidly and efficiently. Often times an instant message is sufficient to get a quick reply; especially when one party is on the phone assisting a customer. With both parties engaged in an instant message session, coworkers may successfully escalate the instant message session to a phone call without repeatedly trading voicemail or email.

Easy configuration
Unity provides for an easy and direct way to manage their features without leaving the application. Setting out of office status, call forwarding options, or simultaneous ring destinations is an easy as a point and click.

Dial from Outlook Contacts
Broadcore Unity supports click-to-dial from Outlook Contacts from within the Directories tab. The Directory Search field will dynamically search all entries in the Broadcore and Outlook directories.
