Music on Hold allows calls on hold, and parked calls to have music. You can customize the music that plays or disable it altogether. The music could be combined with a promotional on hold message as well.
As a group administrator, you can change the music on hold as often as you like, by logging into the broadcore site. You can make it as complex or as simple as you want. If you need professional voice over work and editing we can make a referral with a reputable company. Also all copyright permissions must be attained by you.
Also you can have different music play for different departments and for outgoing and incoming calls.
How to Change your Music on Hold
This is a three step process. First prepare the file. Second upload the file. Third test the music on hold. If you get to the end and it isn't how you expected simply repeat the steps.
You can also prepare several files and have them ready to swap regularly. Once you go through all steps with each file, later you can just upload at will.
Prepare the file
The file must be in this format:
.wav file with these attributes: CCIT u-Law. 8. kHz, 8 Bit, Mono, 7 kb/sec.
Use sound recorder, Audacity or any software to create this file. Also you should reduce the volume while editing the audio file.
Broadcore Client Services is sometimes available to complete some tasks, but this is not our specialty.
Upload the file
