Multiple selective criteria can also be configured for each Broadcore Anywhere location. A new call leg is created for each Broadcore Anywhere location similar to a call termination. The Broadcore Anywhere location's selective criteria are considered for these scenarios.
The Broadcore Anywhere user service works in conjunction with the Broadcore Anywhere portal.
A user can enable or disable a Broadcore Anywhere location from the web portal or by using the Location Control feature access codes.
The following attributes are also configurable for each Broadcore Anywhere location:
- Enable diversion
- Require Answer confirmation
- Use Broadcore-based call control services
How to Use the service:
Incoming Calls
From your desk phone: simply answer.
From your Mobile: Answer the calls, press any key to connect (if you enabled Require Answer Confirmation.) Start Talking.Outgoing Calls
From your desk phone: just call out.
From your mobile: call the Broadcore Anywhere portal number. Enter your extension, voicemail passcode. You'll get a dial tone. Enter the number you wish to call. It will look like you are calling from your Broadcore phone.
Switching between phones
From mobile to desk phone: Dial *11. Keep talking.
From desk phone to mobile: call the Broadcore Anywhere number. Enter your extension, voicemail passcode. You'll get a dial tone. Dial *11. Start Talking.
Call Center/Hunt Group Agents
When Broadcore Anywhere is setup for a user, it will allow you to answer business calls dialed to your direct Broadcore number or to you as an agent of a call center. (This requires that you turn on Require Answer Confirmation.)
How to Setup this service:
To setup and make changes to your Broadcore Anywhere settings, you simply log in to your personal webportal or Broadcore Unity.
Turning on Broadcore Anywhere with Broadcore Unity (See Diagram for details)
- Click Settings (the gear icon)
- Click Broadworks Anywhere
- Click the Green PLUS sign (+)
- The box for Enable this location is already checked.
- Enter Phone Number (3105556852, etc.)
- Enter Description. ("Mobile," or "Goodnight Ranch House" etc.)
- Check the box for "Require Answer Confirmation"*
- Check the box for "Use BroadWorks-based Call Control Services"**
- Click the Green Check Mark.
- Click the Green Check Mark once more to finish.

OR
Turning on Broadcore Anywhere with your personal Web portal. (See Diagram for details)
- Go to Auto login on the outlook toolbar or go to http://www.broadcore.com/login
- Use your web portal credentials (see your administrator or call Broadcore for help.)
- Go to OPTIONS >>CALL CONTROL>>BROADWORKS ANYWHERE
- Click Add.
- The box for Enable this location is already checked.
- Enter Phone Number (3105556852, etc.)
- Enter Description. ("Mobile," or "Goodnight Ranch House" etc.)
- Check the box for "Require Answer Confirmation"*
- Check the box for "Use BroadWorks-based Call Control Services"**
- Click Apply.
- Click Add.
- This WILL CALL your mobile number when the criteria is TRUE.
- Enter the Description what you are doing.
- Choose a time schedule.
Each group has a Broadcore Anywhere Portal phone number. For yours, ask your administrator or go to your personal web portal. OPTIONS>>CALL CONTROL>>BROADWORKS ANYWHERE>>VIEW AVAILABLE PORTAL LIST.

User Options
*Require Answer confirmation
- This feature requires you to press a key on the phone when answered by a mobile phone or outside line to Broadcore.
- It makes voice messages go to Broadcore every time.
- Without it messages go to "who ever picks up first.
- This feature should be checked.
- It allows you to do transfer and other call control features with Broadcore Anywhere.
- When this feature is enabled, calls made from call control clients will ring on all numbers listed.
- When this feature is disabled, calls often will go off hook automatically when using call control clients (call control clients such as Broadcore Unity, Call Manager, Outlook toolbar, Salesforce.com)
Call Broadcore to help with the setup. 1-800-942-4700. It is easy, but it's good to get an expert to consult. You'll need setup a group Portal with phone number and each user will need the Broadcore Anywhere license.
Notes
- This feature is available on Mobility and Executive Packages. (for legacy customers it's available on Premium2)
- You may want to extend the number of rings before voicemail picks on your Broadcore phone. personal web portal. MESSAGING>>GREETINGS>> Number of rings before greeting.
- You can call your mobile carrier at 611 from your mobile phone to adjust the rings before voicemail on that phone as well.
