Greetings is a term that refers to several things. Each has detailed information here.
These instructions are for:
Auto Attendant Greetings
Music on Hold
Call Center Entrance Greeting and Periodic Comfort Message
This is a three step process. First prepare the file. Second upload the file. Third test the music on hold. If you get to the end and it isn't how you expected simply repeat the steps.
You can also prepare several files and have them ready to swap regularly. Once you go through all steps with each file, later you can just upload at will.
Prepare the file
The file must be in this format:
.wav file with these attributes: CCIT u-Law. 8. kHz, 8 Bit, Mono, 7 kb/sec.
Use sound recorder, Audacity or any software to create this file. Also you should reduce the volume while editing the audio file.
Broadcore Client Services is sometimes available to complete some tasks, but this is not our specialty.
Upload the file
Login to Broadcore Group web portal. GROUP>>SERVICES>>MUSIC ON HOLD. (or call center.)
Upload music for group or departments.
If you get a file error be sure it is the proper file type and size listed above.
Once uploaded, save changes.
Test
Be sure to call your office and have them put you on hold so you can hear the volume and experience the new music on hold.
