Monty Ferdowsi: President

As one of the principal founders of the company, Monty is uniquely positioned to lead Broadcore. He provides the strategic vision at Broadcore, and sets direction for the organization. Involved in the telecom industry since 1985, Monty helped build a major provider of premises-based voice communications systems. In 2004 Monty built the first hosted voice communications (IP PBX) infrastructure in Los Angeles which quickly advanced to provide a full array of  hosted unified communications solutions with deployments in US, Canada and over 20 International locations.

Monty designed and implemented one of the first business class VoIP connections in California in 1996 between his offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco. He also developed and taught the first VoIP technology course at UCLA, and continues to teach at UCLA on a regular basis. He served as a member of the data communications advisory board at UCLA in 2007.

Monty currently serves as a board member at the American Red Cross in Santa Monica, California. He is an accomplished digital photographer, and lives with his wife and teenaged children in southern California.

 

Dean Manzoori: Executive Vice President

Dean brings over 20 years of telecommunications experience in a variety of roles including operational management, strategic planning and business development. Combining his extensive experience in communications technology and passion for innovation, Dean co-founded Broadcore to bring advanced communications capabilities to businesses nationwide.

A results oriented leader, Dean excels in positive change management and building productive teams by tapping their passion, imagination, willingness to take risks, patience, persistence, and desire for meaning to achieve long-term financial success.

In his current role at Broadcore, Dean is responsible for developing and executing corporate strategies to meet or exceed short-term and long-range business objectives.

Dean enjoys outdoor activities including soccer, hiking, and skiing. He lives with his wife and their two sons in Southern California.

Dean holds BSEE from CSU, Long Beach with Great Distinction and MBA from Pepperdine University.

 

Michael Bacich: Vice President of Sales and Public Sector

Michael oversees Broadcore’s direct and indirect sales efforts. Charged with building the Broadcore customer base throughout the country, developing an Enterprise ethic through the Sales Department and solidifying its reputation as the leading provider of hosted unified communications solutions, Michael brings a strong consultative customer-centric background into his responsibilities and over 25 years of Telecom C Level Management experience.   Michael began his career in telephony as sales manager, general manager, and CEO of Bay Area Teleport, and followed with a successful stint as EVP of Linkatel, a partnership led by Time Warner, and as VP for Brooks Fiber where he oversaw the development of the San Jose, Fresno and Bakersfield markets.

Michael is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, and enjoys sport fishing, flying, and exploring the state of Texas.

 

Jack Stranberg: Board Advisor

John “Jack” Stranberg is a partner of Insight Consulting Partners. He brings a comprehensive understanding of strategic business practices as a senior executive and management consulting partner to numerous Fortune 1000 and middle market companies.  Jack is also Managing Director of the Paradigm Group, a professional services firm and was a Partner with California Strategies LLC, a leading consulting and governmental affairs company.

His areas of industry specialization include high technology, manufacturing, global logistics, professional service firms, air transportation and travel management.

Stranberg was previously partner-in-charge of KPMG’s Orange County Management Consulting Department and responsible for corporate strategy, performance improvement, financial management, logistics, and transportation practices.  He also worked as Director of Financial Planning, Analysis and Management Information for The Flying Tiger Line, a global airfreight carrier, and was a Manager of Systems Development with Electronic Data Systems (EDS).

Stranberg received a B.S. in Business from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s University, as well as completing Harvard University’s Executive Program.  He served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force with a Top Secret security clearance, has lived and traveled extensively in Europe and Asia and is a member of numerous organizations and Boards of Advisor.
