Training Center
How do I get training?
Email training@broadcore.com. Give us your name and company. We will schedule you in the next available training.

Weekly Online Training and Q&A Schedule:
  • Using the phones 11am Tuesdays
  • Using the web portal 11am Thursdays
  • Administrator training is by appointment.
  • We also provide online training by appointment as needed
New customer training:
  • Ideally, we like to do training a day or two after you receive your phone and it's set-up on your desk. Then, another training will be conducted right around the "cut-over" date.

Using The Phone
How do I pick up a call on hold?
Do not pick up the handset. Simply press the softkey labeled Resume, then pick up the handset.

My phone reads: New missed calls, what does that mean?
A call came in that you did not answer. The caller could hang up, leave a message, or the call could have been answered by someone else in the office. To clear the Messages indicator, Dial *99.

What is the difference between my voicemail and a general voicemail?
Traditionally every user in a company has voicemail. There can also be a general voicemail box for company. The general voicemail should be checked daily. There is usually no message waiting indicator for this box. You can receive a courtesy email when a message is left in any voicemail box.
         Instructions on setting up voicemail notification: Call Customer Service for login info. On your web portal, under Options, click Messaging. Under Basic, click Voice Management. Click the check box in front of: Notify me by e-mail of the new voice message at this address. Type your email address. Click Apply. Close browser window.

My phone icon is shaded darker on the left half. What does that mean?
You have a duplicate phone or soft phone. This display is normal.

How do I forward calls to my cell phone?
Dial *72 plus your number. Press #. You will hear, "Your call forwarding always service has been activated successfully." Hang up. Alternatively, Premium Users may utilize the Simultaneous Ring feature to have their cell phone ring as well every time someone calls their number.

How do I turn off call forwarding?
Dial *73. You will hear, "Your call forwarding always service has been deactivated successfully." Hang up.

Voicemail
How do I set up my voicemail?
If you have your phone, your voicemail is already working. You just need to go in and record your outgoing message. The first time you call into your voicemail: dial your own extension.

How do I know if I have messages?
Your message waiting indicator light will blink red. Also, on the telephone display, there will be a small icon of an envelope.
